The union pursues “Carpenter Politics,” an inclusive and nonpartisan effort to support candidates who champion the goals of working people, promote needed infrastructure investments, and support fair trade. Most of the union’s political activity takes place in its local unions and regional councils. Their political committees interview candidates seeking support, promote political involvement and voting among the membership, and assist in campaigns.
Your vote is your voice, so make sure it is heard! Vote. And when you do, vote for those who vote for working families!
